Mariusz Kawa

Embedded Systems Engineer & Electronics Design Engineer

I’m an embedded systems engineer specializing in custom electronics design, firmware development, and product prototyping for both industrial and consumer applications. My focus is on Cortex-M and Cortex-A based platforms, real-time firmware, and embedded solutions for automation and connected devices.

Project Highlights

Mechatronics Systems

Successfully designed and built several robotic devices, including advanced motor controls, with a focus on safety and EMC compliance testing.

Edge-AI

Designed a cutting-edge industrial smart camera based on the latest TI AM62 platform, integrating real-time AI capabilities at the edge.

Smart Sensor Node

Developed a low-power wireless sensor node using STM32 and BLE for environmental monitoring and data collection.

Industrial Controllers

Designed multiple real-time control boards with CAN and Modbus interfaces for robust and scalable factory automation systems.

Automotive Test Equipment

Developed a series of embedded test devices with accompanying firmware and desktop software for ADAS systems validation in the automotive sector.

Arcade Game Electronics

Built complete embedded systems for coin-operated arcade machines using x86 SoMs, Raspberry Pi CM5, STM32, PIC32MX, 8051, CPLD, and custom PCBs.

This included interrupt-driven and RTOS-based firmware, device software, and full game development in Linux using Unity3D and Godot.
